How I Can Support Your Horse
Every horse is assessed individually, and no two sessions are exactly the same. Therapy plans are tailored to the horse’s needs, goals and comfort levels, often combining a variety of therapeutic approaches within a single session.
Equine Massage Therapy
Hands-on soft tissue techniques designed to reduce muscular tension, improve comfort, support recovery and encourage better movement.
Myofascial Release
A gentle technique that works with the body’s fascia to release tension, restrictions limiting range of motion, reduce discomfort caused by long term fascial restriction buildup, improve mobility and support overall movement patterns.
Lymphatic Drainage
Light, targeted techniques designed to encourage healthy lymphatic function and support the body’s natural fluid movement and recovery processes.
Performance & Competition Support
Suitable before or after training and competition to help prepare the body for work, support recovery and identify areas that may require additional attention.
Acupressure & Traditional Chinese Medicine
Drawing on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, acupressure uses gentle pressure on specific points and meridian lines to support relaxation, comfort and overall wellbeing. While moxibusiton is traditionally used to support circulation, improve flow of energy through meridian lines and restore comfort. Many horses find comfort in the gentle heat.
Energy-Based Therapies
Sessions may incorporate Reiki, essential oils and other gentle energetic approaches where appropriate. These therapies are used to complement physical bodywork and support relaxation and balance.
Supportive Therapies
Additional tools such as heat therapy and Photizo red light therapy may be incorporated where beneficial as part of an individual treatment plan.
