What makes you different?I take an evidence-based, whole horse approach while respecting that no two horses are the same. I am constantly furthering my qualifications and staying up to date. I also use techniques and modalities that I have first hand seen change my own horse’s lives.
Where do you travel?
As a mobile service, I travel to your yard so your horse can get therapy in the comfort of their own stable/yard. I work around Leinster, primarily Dublin, Meath, Louth and Kildare. Further travelling can be arranged if suitable.
What to expect?
We begin by greeting your horse, making sure they’re comfortable. Then I assess them in various ways which informs the session I will perform. I will chat to you about their history, work load, daily routine, lifestyle, then depending on their needs, I will tailor a therapy session to suit them. Aftercare advice will be given and then further a therapy plan to optimise your horse’s health. Ideally your horse would not work or be ridden for 48 hours following the session.
Is it suitable for any horse?
This therapy is suitable for every horse of any age, workload, retired, competing, companion. There are some instances where therapy would be postponed in cases of severe lameness which your vet hasn’t seen, pregnancy, fever or acute injury, infections, to name a few. But the preliminary call would ensure therapy is suitable for your horse when booking.
